THE FIGHT AGAINST VIGILANTISM,A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY-DR. DANIEL APPIAH

A lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Dr.Daniel Appiah has called for called for innovation and coordination to help improve efficiency in the performance of public sector  in  Ghana  .
He made this note during a ceremony to receive the humanity international award for his outstanding works    towards his works for effectiveness in public sector management and fight against corruption in Ghana
The lectures include how to promote transparency and accountability, enhancing competitiveness, public management reforms, restructuring the workforce, reporting and documentation of performance
Describing  Ghana as the land of abundance resources  ‘’ a well-functioning public service would provide the impetus the impetus for social and economic development . however, stressed for the capacity to efficiently  raise money and spend them effectively’’ .
 He adds that policy makers should be incentivized to act in favour of their citizens
Dr. Daniel Appiah who lectures on comparative public administration use the opportunity appeals to the political heads to work togetherness towards ending vigilantism, referring it as a threat to the investment climate Ghana has enjoyed
.A certificate presented to  Dr.Daniel Appiah  reads in parts “this is in recognition for your outstanding  campaign and lectures on effectiveness of public sector management and the fight against corruption .. You’ve no doubt set the path on how to prevent,control and expose  demon but corrupt public officials . Ghana  profoundly appreciates you".
Mr. Alhassan called for programs to curtail the winner takes all mantra in our party politic , such practices according him makes politicians and head of public institutions looks the ballot box instead of the generation or the even development of the country.
He called on public officials to be vanguards of the public good not passive administrators .
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Humanity Magazine International, Mr. Yahaya Alhassan, presenting the award at a ceremony in Accra said that the university of Ghana graduate school has a pool of scholars notably Dr.Kwame Asamoah, Professor Justice Bawole ,Dr. Daniel Appiah, Dr.Albert Ahenkan,Dr.Thomas Buabeng,Dr.Emmanuel Yakubu Seidu,Dr.Aminu Karimu, etc   who would be vital in efficiently and effectively shaping public policies .
He made it known that Humanity Magazine International aims at promoting quality leadership by recognizing the achievements of public and private institutions , to serve as shining examples for other managers or individuals  to emulate.
"At Humanity Magazine International we also promote African business by encouraging such business to team up with their counterparts in other parts of the world, for these indigenous businesses to expand and create jobs for the youth" he added.
